Potential Downtime (3 days)

Having bested the Ebon Triad Outpost, the Heroes learned of a looming danger not only to Diamond Lake and its citizenry, but to the surrounding countryside and beyond. The Heroes discovered that the Ebon Triad is some sort of 'Doomsday Cult' bent on bringing back three dead gods in some form of an Evil Overgod. After defeating Gralluk Kur, leader of the Bhaalite grimlock Cultist, the Heroes faced a creature spawned from a vile pool of liquid evil. Thankfully the creature had not yet fully matured and was only partially developed, but nonetheless put up a terrible fight.

As evidence of the activities of this 'Doomsday Cult', the Heroes uncovered an evil artifact, 'The Nether Tome of Trask'. Carenthal indicated this book was so vile and evil that the single act of simply touching it by a mortal could result in immediate death or at least the draining of most to all of one's health. This item should best be left to Allustan, the smartest man in Diamond Lake to further research.

Additionally, there is the matter of the caldron sealed in wax, the vile black pool of liquid evil, and the complicity of Dourstone and most likely Smenk. These matters should be discussed immediately with the garrison Lieutenants if not the Garrison Commander himslef and Vulkus Dun. Not to mention the discovery of the green worms and the Spawn of Kyuss.

Upon arrival, Jasper advises that Allustan has sent word that he wants to see the Heroes as soon as possible. Apparently, he is eager to hear of the evils that lurked below the Dourstone mine and he already has heard rumors of something terrible taking place deep within the mine.

Good Job Heroes, now it is time for a little rest and relaxation, identification and selling of some treasure, and making appropriate notifications of the recent events and suspects.

Also Kamist and Alobron have been talking about taking a trip up to the Twilight Monastery.
